CHED Scholarship Priority Courses PROGRAMS (CSPS)

EFFECTIVE AY 2021-2022

THE PHILIPPINES – MANILA, Philippines – The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has released the application deadlines for the academic year 2021-2022. Senior high school graduates or candidates for graduation may apply if they meet the criteria and submit all of the scholarship program’s requirements.

If the student-applicant qualifies for the program, the CHED Regional Office will rank the applicants and issue a Notice of Award.

CHED included all scholarship priority courses for the years 2021-2022 in the recently issued CMO No. 10 series of 2021. To quote,

The priority programmes aim to direct/steer higher education qualified applicants for financial assistance under CSPs to enrol in recognized/authorized undergraduate priority programmes at public or private education institutions (HEIs).

According to CHED, the priority courses were chosen after thorough research and consideration by the Technical Working Group (TWG), which included representatives from CHED, the UniFast secretariat, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Department of Labor and Employment (DLE).In accordance with national development, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA), Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), and the Philippine Management Information System (PMIS) were established Plan for personnel needs based on the Department of Labor’s JobsFit 2022 Labor Market Information (LMI) report.
