National Thermal Power Corporation Limited is a Indian Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) under the ministry of Power, Government of India and is one  of the Maharatna Companies of the Nation since 2010. NTPC  Limited is also engaged in business of electricity production. And also involved in Consultancy and turnkey project contracts which requires project management, engineering, management, and operation of power plants.

NTPC Scholarship Scheme 2019 Details:

National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd is going to provide total 35 scholarships to student who belongs to SC/ST Tribe or Physical Challenged for pursuing full time degree courses in Engineering. This Scholarship is largely admissible only from the 2nd year of course till final year. Among 35  Scholarships, 5 scholarships will be given to Physically Challenged Students, 10 will be given to Scheduled Tribe Students, and left 20 will be given to Scheduled Caste.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Student should have taken admission in full Time Degree Course in Engineering in disciplines of Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics, and Telecommunication in recognized college/university by Govt. of India.
  • Students should have valid Reservation certificate of SC/ST.
  • Student should have passed his first year successfully in his first attempt.
  • The applicant’s age should be below the age of 40 years.
  • Student should not be receiving any financial aid or assistance from any source.

NTPC Scholarship Rates/Reward:

The Scholarship will be given to eligible student at rate of Rs. 1500/- p.m. The period of scholarship will be from second year to final year.

Scholarship Scheme

Number of NTPC Scholarship:

There will be total 35 scholarships which is to be given by NTPC to the eligible candidates. These 35 scholarships is divided for different category students which is as following:

  • Scheduled Caste – 20
  • Scheduled Tribe – 10
  • Physically Challenged Students – 5

Application Fees:

There will be no application Fees charged to any student , they can directly download their application form from the official website.

Selection Process:

The Selection process of NTPC Scholarship scheme 2019 is fully based on the marks obtained by student in his/her 1st year.

  1. First of all applicants have to download the application form.
  2. Then print that application form and fill it properly.
  3. Read all the instruction before filling up the application form.
  4. Attach all the necessary documents and certificates with your application form.
  5. And then all the applicants have to send their application form to the address which is given below in this article.

      Date to Registration will be informed soon. But as per source information, past year NTPC has not provided any scholarship. So you have to wait for NTPSC Scholarship 2019 Official Notification release. Thanks for commenting and keep in touch for more updates.

    does NTPC schlorship stands for a OBC girl student also,whose family income is less than 2 lacs and if she is a domicile of uttarpradesh.
